What is local business schema?
Local business schema is a small block of structured data (JSON-LD) that tells search engines your business name, type, address, phone number, opening hours and online profiles in a format machines read without guessing. Google uses it to understand your business for local results and Maps, and AI assistants use the same signals when they recommend businesses.
Why it matters for businesses in Bangladesh
- Addresses are hard to parse. House, road, sector, block and area formats in Dhaka and Chattogram are easy for people but confusing for machines. Schema states them clearly.
